Winter Photos by Susan. Dec 2017.

Every year, when Christmas cards start showing up, my mom always talks about sending some out...but she never does. This year, our sweet friend, Susan Adams, who is my photographer for life (our wedding, babies, lifestyle...she just gets me), was in town, she came to the cabin and took some family pictures for my mom. We thought to put in her Christmas cards...she hasn't gotten that far yet, but maybe these pictures will make it for next year's. Either way, I got some super cute pictures for my Valentine's Card 😉
Brooks, 18 months.
 Preston, 4
 Hayden, 7

We tried some natural walking pictures, haha, we are not good at acting natural ðŸ˜‚

This is my favorite picture of all of us.

There was no snow at the cabin, until the morning Susan came up...And then it snowed and snowed. I've said it before, I'll say it again #TheColdNeverBotheredUsAnyway

Logan Equals Pumpkins.

There are some things that you can only get in Logan. Like Cheese. The only good cheese comes from Logan.
Likewise, Pumpkins. Pumpkins only grow in Logan. Brigham City, but close enough.
Like every year we voyaged to Utah's Fruit Way to get squash. We go pretty late, so we are never sure that they will have squash left. But, if they do, it's usually on sale. That makes the risk worth it.
First, a comparison from Last year, to this year...
This year...
 Last year...
 This year...
 Last.
 Ah, love their guts!
We went to Paul's Patch and loaded up the wagon with lots and lots of delicious squash! WE got there in time, but pickins were getting slim. Preston got up on the table and got the prime butternuts, of which we got 40.
The only regret was that the onions were smelly! They smelled up our whole car, and this was the first stop on our fall Logan journey.
The boys are a little bigger than the first time we stuck Hayden with the pumpkins in the trunk for a picture, but they sure are cute.
After Paul's Patch, we headed to Logan. We went to the bookstore to beef up our wardrobe. As you know, we wear Aggie Blue.
Preston loved this huge hat.
And at Angie's, Hayden loved this huge bun.
Then we headed to the Pumpkin Walk.
Not going to lie, a little disappointing this year. There was way too much dedicated to "Dumb and Dumber." But still fun.
And the highlight at the end, "The Nice Witch." Even though the boys refer to her as "The Nice Witch," Hayden wasn't getting too close, and always keeping an eye on her. And Preston wouldn't even go next to her.
 Charlie Brown Preston.

And the finale, Aggie Ice Cream. Sad Sad that they were out of Aggie Birthday Cake. But BlueMint, Cookie Dough, Raspberry Cheesecake and True Aggie Night weren't bad.
It was sad that Katie wasn't there to give us shelter for the night, or food. But we had a great trip packing all the fun Logan things into one BIG day.
PS. We also stopped at the cheese plant and loaded up on cheese.

Mustard's Two!

My sweet Baby Mustard turned two February 13, 2015.
We were lucky, David got the day off since it was PT Conferences early that week.
We started the day off with "Katie Neal's favorite Creamed Eggs." They were a hit. Then Preston opened his new gloves from Hayden. Now they are twins, and they don't have to fight over the one tiny pair we have :)
They boys then headed outside. Preston picked up pinecones with his new gloves, and Dad and Hayden worked on cleaning the car so they could turn Preston's car seat around! Yay!
We then headed over to Wheeler Farm.

haha, Hayden was pretty excited to show David "Where the farmers go potty" haha, boys

Preston loves the goats. David thinks they are creepy. I think we should get one. And make soap. And Cheese.
Since no one loves Aggies more than our little Mustard, we made AGGIE Birthday Cake Ice Cream. It was pretty delicious. And since I am so green and saved all the little ice cream containers from Katie's graduation, we even had authentic packaging to serve in. #aggieobsessed #packrat
David came through again with an awesome cake. And, I'm pretty sure I did hear someone say that they would pay money for this one too....
Preston (and of course, Hayden) loved it and thought it was the best!
When our babies turn two, they get a big boy bed. Hayden was easy because he hated the crib...you had to rock him to sleep, and then gently place him in his crib and sneek out.so true.
Preston just wanted you to rock him, read forty stories, and then he'd just lay on his pillow and go to sleep.
Here's my little Mustard, the last time in the crib :(
...and now his big boy bed!
Mustard got a story right away, and hopped up.
One night down, and it went perfect. After the 10 min of crying and screaming because he thought that we were "watching show"...Thanks, Michelle :) But David finally told him he could watch a show tomorrow and he laid right down and went to sleep.
We went to see Dr. Bean, and of course, the boys spotted the dumpster :)
Weight 29.1 lbs...75% (Hayden was 29.5 pounds
Height 34.9 inches...80% (Hayden was 35.75 inches)
I can't believe Hayden was a little bigger, because Preston seems so thick compared to him. Thick and ripped.
Preston David "Mustard" Everett loves to laugh, tease, "help" and play. I love it when he's playing and something doesn't work out right, he starts over and says "build again, build again." He loves being with Hayden and always looks for him right when he wakes up. He loves to give "huggies" and says "thank you" with the sweetest, highest voice. He loves splashing in the top and playing with trains. He is the fashion patrol and wants everyone to be an Aggie. He's beautiful.

Love my Baby Mustard.

Aggie October.

This is from back in October, but who doesn't like to reminisce over the Aggies beating BYU?
David, Hayden, Katie and I went to the game in Provo. I was glad that the weather was nice since I HATE driving to (bring in) Provo....especially when it's a blizzard, like last year.
Thanks to Katie for bringing us all new Game Day Shirts.
We LOVE Aggie Shirts around here. Last time I did the dark load of laundry, I counted 13. Go Big Blue!

Hayden had a good time at the game, but was sad that we didn't get a 12-foot maple bar. Katie had a good time, once we walked the two miles to the stadium. Britt had a good time because Utah State won, and David had a good time because Britt had a good time.
