One of the things I was really excited about when we found our house, was how close it was to a park, out a block, down to the light to cross, and BAM, you are there.
The boys and I have been enjoying the warmer weather, although, now, it's pretty much hot, and going to the park.
After we cross the street, Hayden is off and running! He tells me he is going to run marathons like his Dad..
The boys love the sand! We are totally green and use old ice cream buckets and oxy clean scoops to play with.
Hayden loves hauling the sand around and digging holes. Last week there was another family there, and he taught them all how to make cakes. They were eating it up, like he was some pro. Haha, love him
My sweet baby Mustard. He has since graduated to Hayden's aggie hat...he would always steal it anyhow, and Hayden has since gotten a new one. Apparently they have 5-12yr old head size.
My sweet active Hayden.
I love this park because it has toys that aren't too big that they can play on. Southwood Park, where we would go before we moved, "upgraded" the toys and put in huge climbing walls and things that little kids didn't have a chance on. You had to scale a twenty foot wall to get to the slide...dumb.
Preston has figured out how to climb up the stairs and go over to the slide and down. And Laugh. Repeat. Over and Over.
