Thanks to our friend Bryan, we got in to the State Fair this year for free!....except for the huge parking fee.
We got to see the tribute to Olympic diving, which was neat and dumb at the same time, and we got to see the butter sculpture of Hunger Games, and we got to see the neatest hair do's this side of Swamp People.
Hayden was lucky enough to get to ride the ponies again, his new favorite thing. There were a lot more kids waiting at the state fair than there were at the country fair, so his ride wasn't as long, but he sure liked it!...even though you wouldn't guess it from this picture :)
This kind of reminded me of the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics...
Hayden, Granny and David all loved the wiggle cars. None of them were very good drivers, but they all had a blast riding and crashing into each other.
Hayden loved the DNR building with the fish and birds, and especially the free tape measure.
We had a fun time at the fair. Thanks Bryan!

Looks loke you guys had a great time! Maybe we can go together next year. Also if you want to go to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point you get a pony rode with admission. We're members so if you ever want to go with us its half price for our guests. :)
