I can't believe it's already December! Wow, does time fly.
We still aren't in our house yet, but we are closer. Maybe by Christmas, but no one is holding their breath.
Yesterday is snowed, a TON!
Hayden was so excited! We went out and shoveled for a few min, but since we aren't sure where Mustard's snow gear is, we had to come in because it was freezing!
We got into the Elf on the Shelf tradition this year. I had never even heard of it until I found Hayden pj's at DownEast last year. Thanksgiving night we opened the book and the elf. Hayden named him "Winston." Hayden doesn't connect the "be good, Winston is watching" to Santa...or anything. But he does love looking for him every morning.Since it was snowing outside, we built with snow cubes, sugar cubes, inside. Hayden LOVED it! He played for at least an hour.
Then we made some crusty bread to go with our Minnestrone Soup...Stoup...Goulosh for dinner. It was pretty thick, but that was probably a good thing. Hayden didn't even realize it wasn't actually goloush and ate all the vegetables and everything. My Dad, however, noticed that it didn't have any meat...
we made pizza for lunch
And a side not, Preston finally figured out how to drink from the Camelbak! Wahoo!
