Cecret Lake.

For our last hike of the summer, the boys and I went to Cecret Lake at the top of Alta. Our book says that it is the best hike for wildflowers. And it was! They were so beautiful! I recommend this hike highly, but make sure you get there pretty early, parking can be tough! ....and go mid-late August, that's when the flowers and flamin'!

Hayden LOVES riding in the pack! ...and David loves to carry him...

Hayden, our little granola, loves all thing Camelback
At the lake the wind was blowing, seriously, look at Hayden's hair. We gave him a haircut the next day.

There were Elephant Head flowers along the trail. These are pretty rare, but beautiful. Each little blossom on the stalk looks like the head of an elephant, hence the name.
